We are currently seeking to expand our pool of experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to support locum shifts in GP Practices across Somerset and Devon.
Job Description
The role primarily involves conducting 15-minute face-to-face consultations, with occasional telephone triage and home visits. As a result, successful candidates must possess a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Execute clinical procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide patient education on health management and preventive care strategies.
Requirements
- A qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Nurse or Paramedic) with relevant certification or equivalent experience.
- Must be an independent prescriber.
- Demonstrated experience in patient care within a clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of clinical practice.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
