CNC Laser Engineer Position Overview

Servicing CNC and Laser machinery across the UK mainland, our ideal candidate will work in a workshop environment, installing, commissioning, and servicing a range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission new machinery
  • Perform fault-finding on manufacturing machinery
  • Collect and deliver machines, as well as collect stock for spare parts from the workshop
  • Communicate with customers to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Live within a commutable distance of Halifax
  • Happy to stay away up to 2-3 nights a week (never over the weekend)
  • A recognized electrical qualification is advantageous
  • Experience with CNC Laser Cutting and Engraving is beneficial

Benefits:

  • Salary: £38,000-£45,000
  • Working hours: 7:30-4:30, Monday to Thursday, and 7:30-12:30 on Fridays
