Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Boxford, a leading manufacturer of laser cutting and engraving machines. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, providing training on, and servicing and repairing our range of laser cutters, laser engravers, and CNC machine tools at customer sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission laser cutting and engraving machines at customer sites
  • Provide training to customers on the safe and efficient use of our machines
  • Service and repair laser cutting and engraving machines as required
  • Travel to customer sites throughout the UK to perform installations, commissioning, and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Laser Cutter and/or Engraver Installation / Service Engineer and Trainer
  • Be based on the UK mainland
  • Be hard working and dependable
  • Be able to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Have initiative and ability to think on your feet
  • Have an excellent customer-facing manner
  • Have a desire to go above and beyond with a can-do attitude to provide an excellent customer experience
