About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Boxford. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, providing training on, and servicing and repairing our range of Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customers' sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission Laser Cutters, Laser Engravers, and CNC machine tools at customers' sites
  • Provide training to customers on the safe and effective use of our equipment
  • Service and repair equipment as required
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Laser Cutter and/or Engraver Installation/Service Engineer and Trainer
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills at component level
  • Excellent customer-facing manner and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High degree of initiative and ability to think on your feet
