About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Centre Team Leader to join our team at the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective utilisation of our fleet and equipment across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary function, guiding and supporting teams to achieve high standards of vehicle and equipment maintenance. You will ensure that we meet maintenance and service plans against agreed departmental KPIs and job cycle times. Additionally, you will manage the implementation and delivery of a continuous improvement and workplace methodology for fleet maintenance activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience of fault finding / diagnosis within an electronic / mechanical / clinical engineering field. You should also have information technology experience, proficiency in using diagnostic equipment to fault find within a medical device and equipment capacity, and knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2012. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this position.
