Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous clinical assessment and treatment to patients with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Lead on improvements in the quality of care and safety through service development, evaluation, and audit.
  • Contribute to the delivery of programs of quality improvement and provide advanced and expert-level practice, leading to improved patient outcomes.
  • Provide clinical leadership and management, leading to the provision of safe, quality, effective care.
  • Improve workforce knowledge and practice through the provision of ward-based education and training programs.

Person Specification
  • Hold an appropriate Master's level award with modules in Advanced Health Assessment and Non-Medical Prescribing.
  • Professional regulated core qualification with the NMC/HCPC.
  • Independent and supplementary prescribing qualification.
  • Experience in teaching/clinically supervising junior staff and leading on a series of audits, action plans, and projects simultaneously.
