Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a Master's level award with modules in Advanced Health Assessment and Non-Medical Prescribing. You will be responsible for providing autonomous clinical assessment and treatment, demonstrating clinical expertise at an advanced level. You will also contribute to the delivery of programs of quality improvement and provide clinical leadership and management to ensure safe, quality, and effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous clinical assessment and treatment, demonstrating clinical expertise at an advanced level.
  • Contribute to the delivery of programs of quality improvement.
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to ensure safe, quality, and effective care.
  • Improve workforce knowledge and practice through the provision of ward-based education and training programs.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's level award with modules in Advanced Health Assessment and Non-Medical Prescribing.
  • Professional regulated core qualification with the NMC/HCPC.
  • Independent and supplementary prescribing qualification.

Experience in teaching/clinically supervising junior staff, leading on a series of audits, action plans, and projects simultaneously, and leading/managing a multidisciplinary team is essential. A clinical supervision qualification and qualifications in Project Management and/or Quality improvement are desirable.
