About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cardiology service for patients from across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of a local Cardiac Electrophysiology service
  • Support the expansion of the complex devices service
  • Manage the administration generated by cardiology activities, including reporting of investigations back to GPs and responding to GP correspondence
  • Teach and supervise medical students, junior medical staff, and technicians/nurses
  • Participate in audit and support junior team members in their audit projects
