Audit Supervisor/ Assistant Manager Position in Bournemouth: Unlock Your Potential

Our client, a forward-thinking firm, seeks an accomplished Audit Supervisor/ Assistant Manager to lead their team. This exciting opportunity is geared towards recently qualified Audit Seniors aiming to elevate their careers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The successful candidate will bring a high level of expertise in audit management, having led audits from planning through to completion and reviewed year-end financial statements under FRS102. Additionally, they should possess a strong understanding of UK GAAP and FRS102, as well as experience in managing junior staff and addressing technical queries.

This role comes with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, accompanied by an impressive benefits package that includes flexible working, paid overtime, health insurance, and a comprehensive personal progression plan. The key responsibilities of this position are:
  • Assisting in the management of a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Leading/ managing external audits from planning to completion
  • Reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and FRS102
  • Supervising junior staff
  • Offering technical guidance
  • Participating in business advisory work
  • Attending client meetings
  • Supporting business development
  • Establishing strong client relationships

Essential Requirements:
  • ACA/ ACCA Qualified
  • ACA/ ACCA Finalist/PQ also considered
  • Substantial experience in leading audits from planning to completion
  • Prior practice experience is necessary
  • Strong understanding of FRS102
