We are seeking an experienced F&B Operations Manager to join our team at Delta Hotels Edinburgh. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the management of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Create a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all employees and respond quickly and proactively to their concerns.
  • Use coaching skills throughout the property to ensure a high level of performance from team members.
  • Motivate and encourage staff to resolve guest and employee-related issues efficiently.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by responding promptly and effectively to guest complaints or problems.
  • Take ownership of resolving guest complaints or problems until they are fully addressed.
  • Develop relationships with guests to build repeat business and loyalty.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all corporate accounting procedures and assist the F&B Manager as needed with annual quality audits.
  • Manage inventory levels and monitor stock to prevent waste and minimize losses.

Requirements:

  • A supervisor-level position with experience in food and beverage operations.
  • A real passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • The ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing situations, and develop new skills.
  • An understanding of Marriott International's service culture and a willingness to promote it throughout the property.
