Children and Young People's Advocate

Supporting Futures Consulting Ltd seeks a dedicated Children and Young People's Worker to join their team in South Wales. As part of the Young Person's Well Being and Engagement Team, you will work closely with young people aged 10-18, providing them with access to food services, workshops, and activities that promote well-being and social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging programs for children and young people, focusing on topics such as anxiety management, bullying, friendships, racism, street safety, and grooming.
• Run food, nutrition, and cooking groups, teaching young people basic living skills, planning meals, discussing healthy eating, and nutritional value.
• Collaborate with the team to shape the service according to the needs and feedback from young people.
Requirements:
• Proven track record working with children and young people (ideally aged 10-18).
• Ability to engage and listen to children to shape the service to fit their needs.
• Background in Youth Work, Children and Family related services, Residential Services and/or linked Services would be great.
• Must drive, have access to a car, and hold a current enhanced DBS.
Estimated Salary Range: £16,000 - £19,000 per annum + VAT, depending on experience.
