Strategic Client Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Client Lead to join our Generation Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling complex Generation Services products to high-value clients, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage high-level strategic stakeholder relationships to deliver new business and support relationships at Senior Management levels.
- Prospect opportunities to grow the sector through the delivery of PPAs and ROCs to meet challenging growth targets.
- Ensure accuracy of all account data across the team to maintain sustainable supply and value-add pipelines.
- Create and manage a team territory plan to deliver agreed business targets in terms of revenue, EBIT, and volume.
- Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to develop a wide range of high-level external networks that will build and enhance our reputation and generate opportunities.
- Deliver deals that are fully compliant with the agreed DOA and approvals process and minimize rework.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of the UK Energy Market, specifically skilled in development, negotiation, and execution of complex products and contractual and financial management tools.
- Experience with independent generators and/or strategic customers.
- Strong commercial and technical competence with substantial experience gained in the energy industry.
- Experience in managing accounts, having worked across multiple sectors such as PPAs, ROCS, REGOS, power supply, and gas supply.
- Demonstrable significant awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of the competition in the Generation Services market, along with the ability to capitalize on this knowledge.
- Full UK driving license.
