About the RoleAs a Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments for young people.
- Build strong relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies to ensure effective support and guidance.
- Maintain a clean and tidy living environment, promoting a sense of community and responsibility among young people.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained, with supervision and guidance from senior staff.
- Contribute to the educational and social development of young people, including the implementation of Individual Education Programs.
- Meet the emotional and physical needs of young people, promoting their overall well-being and development.
- Support the deputy/manager of the home, taking on senior duties as directed.
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable).
- Experience in a children's home setting (essential).
- Passion for working with young people and a commitment to their care and well-being.
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including sleep ins, with a rota plan provided in advance.
- Full, UK driving licence (essential).
