National Sales Manager UK and Ireland Role

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Marketing Lead to join our UK and Ireland team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales within the UK and Ireland by promoting our full range of pumps and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly sales reports showing sales volume, monitored against the budget, with an action plan to address variations.
- Create and maintain the sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with existing customers.
- Take ownership of achieving set sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of our business.
- Maximise revenue opportunities from our existing customers, prepare sales presentations, and participate in sales meetings.
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers, supporting marketing with case studies and content.
- Assist in the development of our business sales and marketing strategy, participating in exhibitions and conferences in the UK and Europe.
Requirements
- Self-confident with excellent communication skills and honest in your approach.
- Able to plan and organise daily and weekly calls without daily supervision, demonstrating the ability to plan and manage your workload with the overall goal of delivery and continuous growth to the business.
- Have a good geographical knowledge of the area and hold a full current driving licence.
- Previous face-to-face sales experience is preferred in the sales or rental business for plant hire equipment, rotating equipment industry, or similar industrial environment.
- Able to demonstrate a proven track record in profitable business generation along with a good financial acumen, budgetary awareness, experience of negotiating and working closely with customers to achieve optimum sales agreements and reach financial targets.
- High competency level in MS Office applications.

Education/ Qualifications:
- PREFERRED: Degree in engineering or business-related subjects.
- ESSENTIAL: Educated to higher level standard (Higher Education) with good science business-based subject passes.
