Social Work Case Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Social Work Case Manager to join our team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of the Safeguarding Services team, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting vulnerable children and families across the county.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assessing and developing support plans for service users in accordance with national guidelines and local policies.
• Managing complex cases, coordinating packages of support, and monitoring situations to ensure effective delivery of services.
• Providing guidance and advice to family members, empowering them in planning and evaluating services.
• Building professional relationships with relevant agencies and staff, arranging contact as necessary to meet the needs of service users.
• Participating in multidisciplinary teams and meetings to analyze needs and plan care programs.
• Ensuring timely recording and updating of information and reports according to Directorial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• A strong background in social work or a related field, with experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with service users and colleagues alike.
• Proficient in recording and reporting requirements, with attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
