Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to support our artists and content creators in creating efficient and high-quality art for our games. This role involves working closely with artists and engineers to establish best practices for content creation, pushing the benchmark for quality, and ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with artists and engineers to establish and maintain best practices for content creation
- Develop and implement tools and pipelines to enhance artistic efficiency and quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in game content creation
- Mentor and guide Technical Artists to improve their skills and craft
- Work closely with the team to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow
- Strong scripting abilities in Python or other languages
- Deep understanding of rendering pipelines, HLSL/GLSL, and game development principles
- Proficiency in one or more DCC packages, such as Maya, Max, Blender, or Houdini
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with game development pipelines and Unreal Engine
- A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the industry's challenges and goals
