Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Artist to join our team and support artists and content creators in creating efficient and high-quality art for our games. The successful candidate will work closely with artists and engineers to establish best practices for content creation, drive quality standards, and develop tools that facilitate a collaborative and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with artists and engineers to establish and maintain best practices for content creation, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement tools and pipelines that enable artists to work efficiently and effectively, driving quality and consistency in game assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in game development, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Work closely with other artists and technical artists to share knowledge, best practices, and expertise, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven scripting abilities in Python or other languages, with a strong understanding of programming principles and data structures.
  • Fundamental knowledge of rendering pipelines, HLSL/GLSL, and a solid grasp of computer graphics concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of best practices for game content creation, including asset management, optimization, and quality control.
  • Experience with game development pipelines, including Unreal Engine, and a solid understanding of game development principles.
  • A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the gaming industry.
