About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at Hereford Medical Group. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and visitors upon arrival, verifying appointments, and directing them to the appropriate waiting area.
  • Assisting with patient check-in, collecting and entering necessary information into our system.
  • Providing information and assistance to patients regarding practice services, appointment scheduling, and general enquiries.
  • Monitoring the waiting area and coordinating with clinical staff to manage patient flow and minimize wait times.
  • Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and determine own workload priorities.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to stand for shift, assist patients with mobility issues, and push wheelchairs when needed.
