We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator Coordinator to join our team at Hereford Medical Group.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity to support our secretarial team, working hours Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Main Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and process SARS requests using IGPR software, ensuring verification is in place
- Manage SBAR and District Nurse Communications, as well as Docman Tasks and E-mail Monitoring
- Raise invoices, manage telephone enquiries, and scan documents into patients' notes and workflow
- Code clinical details into notes according to agreed protocols and procedures
- Sending letters to patients for follow-up appointments as necessary, using relevant templates
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good standard of general education, including English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent
- Experience of dealing with medical paperwork and working with computer packages
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work without direct supervision
- Flexibility to work at desired times and locations, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities

Hereford Medical Group is a large General Practice Surgery providing care for approximately 49,000 patients across five sites. We value our staff and offer a range of benefits, including 25-30 days annual leave entitlement, on-site Occupational Health Services, and access to a generous NHS pension scheme.
What We Offer
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £23,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
