Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate leader to manage the operations of a children's residential home. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the home, ensuring that children and young people receive the highest standard of care and support in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, caring, and structured environment for children and young people.
  • Oversee and manage a team of care staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to safeguarding policies and practices, promoting the welfare of every child.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans for each child, ensuring their emotional, social, and physical needs are met.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with the children, creating a stable and supportive atmosphere.
  • Ensure that the home is run in accordance with the children's care plans, local authority expectations, and Ofsted requirements.
Requirements
