Job Title: Behavioural Support Specialist

Location: Wembley, London

Salary: £90+ per day (DOE)

Contract: Full-time (term-time only)

The successful candidate will provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for primary & secondary students with specific needs. This is a role in a reputable SEN school's in Wembley, London (NW10) that offers a unique curriculum to support students' education based on their ability.

About the School:

  • Caters for children who have been excluded from mainstream schools due to behaviour, social, emotional, or mental health reasons.
  • Students with identified Special needs require additional support in facilitating their learning.
  • Students who cannot attend school due to medical reasons.
  • A transient cohort joins and leaves throughout the school year depending on their needs.

To Be Considered:

  1. Experience working with SEMH students is desirable.
  2. Experience working with challenging behaviour/ SEMH is essential.
  3. Eligibility to work in the UK requires a valid visa.
  4. Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/Police checks are required.

Each candidate will undergo a DBS check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from previous employers.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure is mandatory.
  • Professional reference checks and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) are required.
  • The legal right to work in the UK is necessary.
  • Willingness to attend a registration interview is required.
