Specialist Support Worker for Children with SEMH Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our small and friendly school community at The Corner School, a specialist school for children with Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Job Overview:This rewarding role involves providing exceptional learning and behavioural support to our children, working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to help them excel in their learning and personal development.
You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the welfare of our children, while also being resilient in working with children who have SEMH needs.
Your passion for helping children achieve their full potential will shine through in your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students.
Salary: £25,261 - £26,362 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player with excellent communication skills, who is passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to students with SEMH needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to develop effective learning plans
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
