Personal Assistant for Teenage Boy with Complex Needs

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Personal Assistant to support a 13-year-old boy with various health issues, including ADHD and Autism. The ideal candidate will be able to provide attentive care and assist with daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide flexible support for the teenage boy, ensuring his safety and well-being at all times.
- To assist with personal care tasks, such as continence pad changes and administering medication (if necessary).
- To accompany the teenager on outings, such as shopping and swimming, using public transport or own car.
Requirements:
- Flexible and reliable with a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Experience working with young people with autism and complex needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check and complete a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
- The position involves up to 3 hours of work per week, primarily on weekends and holidays.
Compensation:
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour.
- 5.6 weeks paid annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
