About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct holistic psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide brief psychological interventions and support patients in managing their mental health
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and effective risk management
  • Supervise junior staff and contribute to the development of the team
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with current registration
  • Experience in a community setting and leadership role
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and relevant policies and procedures
