The Talent Set, a leading recruitment agency, is partnering with an International Development charity to find a highly skilled Donor Experience Director.


Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Supporter Engagement team and deliver an exceptional donor experience. The successful candidate will oversee supporter care, community fundraising, and challenge events, ensuring that all interactions are professional, timely, and exceed donor expectations.


About the Role:


This is a permanent, full-time position with hybrid working arrangements, requiring 2 days per week in our London office. As Donor Experience Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities:


• Ensure all donations and enquiries are acknowledged promptly and professionally.


• Develop and implement effective supporter engagement strategies, including community fundraising and challenge events.


• Foster strong relationships with community groups across the UK and oversee event management.


• Line manage the Supporter Engagement team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they meet their objectives and fulfill their potential.


Requirements:


We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in supporter care, community fundraising, or related fields. Your expertise should include knowledge of customer care policies, procedures, and programmes, as well as charity fundraising regulations and data practices. Previous experience in staff management and development is essential.
