Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our production unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily tasks as outlined by the QA Supervisor and Manager, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Review and verify daily quality checks of goods delivered by our suppliers, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Inspect chillers and dry stores within the production and warehouse, ensuring compliance with FIFO, batch codes, expiry dates, and allergen segregation.
  • Perform regular audits across the kitchen/operation, verifying that all paperwork is up-to-date, temperature controls are performed regularly and recorded, and cleanliness levels are maintained.
  • Supervise the personal hygiene of team members in areas such as Veg preparation, butchers, and pot wash.
  • Support the QA events international team in diverse locations across the world, as required.
  • Supervise that all members of the production follow internal safety rules, aiming to prevent future incidents.
  • Submit daily reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor about incidents, issues, and solutions, as well as general information about daily production development.

  • Clear and engaging communicator, with strong written and verbal English, and the ability to use a variety of methods to keep the team well-informed.
  • Flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the DO & CO family.
  • Have a great understanding and working knowledge of your department and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands-on approach.
  • HACCP & Food Hygiene Certification.
  • BSc Food Science or experience in a similar role.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office package with excellent working knowledge of reporting and managing data.
