We're seeking a skilled and passionate leader to join our Bars & Shops department as a Bar Venue Manager on a fixed-term maternity cover until 31st October 2025.
As a Bar Venue Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences to our guests by nurturing, training, and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment.
You'll be responsible for driving standards, leading the team to excellence, and incorporating all brand standards and Butlin's way of working.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
You'll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards while being guest-obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do.
The role will also involve analysing KPIs and stock control systems to maximise gross profit margins and adhering to food safety and health & safety policies.
You should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight our guests.
You should be an advocate for your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121s and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin's.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same, and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
Typical working hours cover 40 hours, 5 days over 7, with a variety of shifts between 9am-10pm, with support across the wider department at times, and will include weekend, bank holidays, and Christmas working.
This is a fixed-term 12-month maternity cover contract until 31st October 2025.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with prior experience in a food & beverage environment, with strong experience of being guest and customer-facing and dealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly.
This role is within a fast-paced and busy environment that will require some late evenings and weekend shifts.
You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121s and coaching.
Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important part of this role, so you should be passionate about every interaction and should seek opportunities to improve this wherever possible.
You should have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes, experience in working with multi-skilled teams to support other areas of the business based on guest demand.
You should be able to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, to include proficiency in managing performance, coaching teams, delivering team training, setting standards, and role modelling this behaviour, problem-solving & feedback, and able to manage multiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changing requirements.
