Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to support our MLS Delivery teams in ensuring the delivery of a world-class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of paralegals focused on delivery of work to both lawyers and external clients.
Key Responsibilities- Line manage a team of paralegals focused on delivery of work to both lawyers and external clients, including day-to-day supervision, training & development, and management of direct reports.
- Supervise the delivery of legal services to end users.
- Provide service delivery management support on engagements as required, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
- Continually develop delivery models to ensure best-in-class service.
- Develop effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
- Work with Resource Management to effectively manage the allocation of work, and monitor/manage capacity and workload levels.
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Experience of working on disputes-related matter types.
- Alternative legal services experience.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a high-performing team of legal professionals.
- Experience in managing the delivery of legal services in a high-volume, multi-location environment.
- Experience of influencing stakeholders in a large commercial law firm to promote the benefits of utilizing alternative service delivery models.
- Significant experience of working with performance metrics to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
