Role Overview

Pinsent Masons, a leading law firm, is seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to join its Vario team. Vario is a unique practice group within Pinsent Masons, offering alternative legal services. This role will support the Managed Legal Services (MLS) team in delivering high-quality legal services to practice groups and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of paralegals in delivering legal services to end-users, including day-to-day supervision, training, and development.
  • Supervise the delivery of legal services, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Support engagement strategies with practice groups and external clients, focusing on pastoral care and development of legal delivery teams.
  • Develop and implement delivery models to ensure best-in-class service.
  • Build effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
  • Work with Resource Management to manage work allocation, capacity, and workload levels.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing high-performing teams of legal professionals.
  • Alternative legal services experience, preferably in property-related matters.
  • Significant experience in managing delivery of legal services in high-volume, multi-location environments.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders in a large commercial law firm to promote alternative service delivery models.
  • Experience in working with performance metrics to ensure best-in-class service delivery.
