We are seeking an experienced underwriter to join our team in this critical lending process role. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving loan applications, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely redemption of loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications and assess creditworthiness based on their financial history and current circumstances
- Collaborate with internal departments and directors to make informed credit decisions, ensuring a smooth lending process
- Utilize analytical skills to determine lending suitability and identify potential risks associated with each application
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, ensuring timely loan redemptions and maintaining a positive customer experience
- A strong understanding of the lending process and ability to structure transactions to achieve desired outcomes
Benefits:
- A competitive salary range £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements:
