About the JobAs an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for assisting the Centre Director in managing the overall operation of the centre. This includes recruiting and developing staff, implementing policies and procedures, ensuring child safety, and maintaining environmental health/hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and develop staff to meet the needs of the centre.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with provincial regulations.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
- Ensure effective communication with families about their child's progress.
- A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with membership in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
- Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations.
- Meet province requirements for childcare employment.
- Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements.
- CPR/First Aid Certificate.
