A Data Centre Technical Analyst is required to manage the implementation, operation, and security of systems and services hosted in data centres and cloud. This role involves overseeing the management of onsite infrastructure and associated private and public cloud resources, ensuring they meet strategic and operational requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Administering a suite of onsite infrastructure and associated private and public cloud resources
  • Ensuring regular preventative maintenance of systems and services, including data backup operations
  • Developing, documenting, reviewing, maintaining, and promoting standards, processes, and procedures
  • Supervising a team of analysts and leading technical projects
  • Providing consumption and usage reports to inform current operation, future development, and financial planning

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing medium-scaled enterprise data centre environments and a strong understanding of system virtualisation and DNS implementation and management.

This is a Cambridge-based, permanent role with a salary range of £45,163-£55,295 and benefits including holiday and pension packages.
