Operations Manager Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Life Insurance Team at mbf. This is an exciting opportunity to drive team growth, improve operational efficiency, and achieve ambitious business targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Team Director to develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and meet business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee team productivity, ensuring streamlined processes and minimizing bottlenecks to maximize efficiency.
  • Support recruitment and workforce planning, helping to cultivate a high-performance team that meets business needs.
  • Manage day-to-day team operations, including training needs, one-on-one meetings, and schedule management to ensure effective team management.
  • Act as a key liaison with internal business units such as compliance, accounting, and marketing to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Track and report on team performance metrics, contributing insights to leadership to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in team management, including recruitment, training, and performance coaching.
  • A successful track record in project management and optimizing back-office processes to drive efficiency and growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of the life insurance sector, particularly within high-net-worth client services, to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments to drive business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to ensure effective use of technology to drive business success.
