Clinical Coding Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coding Specialist to enhance our Clinical Coding Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality clinical coding services to support the business needs of East Cheshire NHS Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have expert knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS4 classifications, with a proven track record of accurate and timely coding. You will work closely with clinicians and other medical professionals to develop an improved communication system between the Clinical Coding Department and the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical coding services to support business needs.
- Develop and maintain expertise in ICD-10 and OPCS4 classifications.
- Collaborate with clinicians and other medical professionals to improve communication.
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS4 classifications.
- National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) Certificate.
- Coding experience following NCCQ-Clinical Coding Accreditation.
Salary: £43,000 - £50,000 per annum.
