The NHS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join its established adult community team. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services to adults across the Macclesfield area. This position involves assessing patient needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.

Main Duties
  • Acting as a clinical specialist, providing high-standard occupational therapy assessments and treatments to adults with diverse health needs.
  • Liaising with other agencies, ensuring seamless communication and referral processes.

Essential Requirements
  • Degree-level post-graduate course relevant to the specialist area or working towards this level.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in a community-based setting, managing complex rehabilitation issues, including dementia.
  • Audit skills and experience contributing to teaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
