Job Title: Public Health Specialist

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a Public Health Specialist to join our team. As a senior role, this position is crucial for shaping and delivering public health policies that improve the health and wellbeing of vulnerable populations, while addressing inequalities and driving positive changes across the health and care system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies, programmes, and policies aimed at improving public health outcomes, particularly in relation to older people, learning disabilities, and mental health.
  • Engage and work with partners across the health and care system, local authorities, voluntary sectors, and other stakeholders to promote public health initiatives and tackle wider determinants of health.
  • Design, develop, and implement evidence-based public health policies that are tailored to local needs, ensuring alignment with national health priorities and legislation.
  • Lead successful change management programmes that span organizational boundaries, with a focus on addressing inequalities and enhancing health outcomes.
  • Act as a public health advocate, using data and complex information to communicate public health issues to a wide range of audiences.

About the Role:

This role is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based in Cambridge and will be required to work outside of IR35.
