Job Title: Consultant in Public Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Public Health to join our team in the East of England. As a key member of our regional public health team, you will play a critical role in driving improvements in health outcomes and reducing health inequalities across the population.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist public health leadership advice and operational management to central and local government.
  • Lead, oversee, coordinate, and deliver high-quality, specialist technical and professional public health leadership, advice, and support to drive improvements in health outcomes and reduction in health inequalities.
  • Work with Directors of Public Health and their teams, NHS partners, and regional public health organizations to develop and implement public health strategies.
  • Collaborate with national policymakers to support the development and implementation of policy.
Requirements:
  • Must be included in the GMC Full and Specialist Register with a license to practice, the GDC Specialist List, or the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) for Public Health Specialists.
  • Must have equivalent training or appropriate experience in public health practice.
  • Must meet the minimum CPD requirements in accordance with Faculty of Public Health or another recognized body.
  • Must possess a Master's in Public Health or an equivalent degree.
