Job Overview

At Pertemps, we are partnering with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced Claims Director for their Claims Handling Department.

The role involves providing managed claims services for top professional indemnity insurers, overseeing claims from first notification to resolution.

This is a hybrid position that requires effective management of delegated authority on pre-loss and post-loss activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills to drive results-oriented team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage claims teams to ensure efficient claim handling and resolution within set timeframes
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve claim outcomes and reduce costs
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including insurers and clients, to maintain strong relationships and resolve complex issues
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the claims process

We are offering a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for career growth and development.
