About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Active Care Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support service users with daily activities, including personal care and medication administration.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure service users are transported to all timetabled events, including activities, therapies, and hospital appointments.
  • Provide support to service users with physical disabilities, using trained techniques and aids such as hoists, wheelchairs, and modified bathing equipment.
  • Transport and escort service users to appointments and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a comprehensive support package for service users.

Requirements:

  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Strong organisational, time management, planning, and communication skills.
  • Flexible, professional, and positive approach to multi-site working.
  • Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
