Support Worker for Individual with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Penderels Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily support to an individual with learning disabilities, who uses a wheelchair for mobility. The role will involve assisting with personal care, cooking, and household chores, as well as accompanying the individual to appointments and social events.
The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and able to work independently. They will also be able to maintain confidentiality and respect the individual's privacy. If you are a caring and supportive individual who is looking for a rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including toileting, showering, and getting dressed
- Support with cooking and meal preparation
- Accompany the individual to appointments and social events
- Assist with household chores and general homemaking
- Support with managing paperwork and correspondence
Requirements

- Have good listening skills and be able to provide non-judgmental emotional support
- Be able to work flexibly and adapt to the individual's needs
