Personal Support Assistant for Individual with Autism and Learning Disability

Are you a caring and patient individual looking to make a difference in someone's life? We are seeking a Personal Support Assistant to provide support to an 19-year-old gentleman living with parents, who has Autism, learning disability, and extreme anxiety.
The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, follow instructions accurately, and provide non-judgmental emotional support. They will also need to be honest, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual, as well as have good listening skills and be empathetic.
The successful candidate will assist the individual with daily tasks such as cooking, meal preparation, and eating meals/drinks, as well as supporting them to attend appointments, hospital/doctors, and social activities. They will also need to support the individual to look after/care for pets, including cats, torties, guinea, and hamster.
The role requires flexibility and adaptability, as the individual's needs may vary from day to day. The successful candidate will need to be able to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings, and be willing to get involved in activities such as football, darts, and cricket.
