We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Bilfinger UK Limited. As a key member of our Engineering and Consultancy department, you will be responsible for managing and controlling projects and associated quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Project Quality Management: Develop and implement quality plans, inspection and test plans, and supporting QA documentation to ensure compliance with company and project requirements.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits in accordance with the published project audit programme, and produce reports on audit outcomes.
- Quality Performance Monitoring: Ensure quality performance monitoring is maintained and reviewed against agreed KPIs.
- Subcontractor Management: Ensure subcontractors and suppliers conform to company and project requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients' QA departments, to ensure transparency and open communication.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote and encourage a continuous improvement philosophy within the team.
- Engineering and QA/QC Background: Good understanding of engineering and QA/QC principles and practices.
- Quality Management Systems: Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems in a regulated environment.
- Problem Resolution: Ability to resolve problems and articulate the use of problem resolution tools and techniques.
- Internal Auditing: Full understanding of how to deliver internal audits of management systems and communicate outcomes.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to understand and interpret ISO Management System Standards, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Communication and Report Writing: Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Regulated Industry Experience: +5 years' experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as petrochemical, oil and gas, aviation, or construction.
- Internal Auditor Qualification: Recognised and current Internal Auditor qualification (IRCA) is essential.
- Quality Qualification: Recognised quality qualification or certification is essential.
