Residential Childcare Support Worker Location: East Huntspill, Highbridge Contract: Shift Pattern - ad-hoc cover Salary: £ per hour plus sleep in shifts when required Headway Adolescent Resources is a reputable provider of residential adolescent care, committed to delivering holistic support to young people. We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Professional to join our team on a casual basis, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work hours that suit your availability. As a Support Worker in our residential home, you will work with young people who require additional support, utilizing your skills and experience to provide a high standard of care. Your role will involve working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the well-being and safety of our residents, while also maintaining accurate records and contributing to a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Providing individualized support to young people with challenging behavior

  • Utilizing your skills and experience to provide a high standard of care
  • Supporting young people in achieving their goals and aspirations
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in a residential setting
  • Qualified to QCF level in Children and Young People
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and maintain accurate records
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people
  • Full manual driving license
