We are seeking a Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our new residential home on a casual basis. This opportunity offers flexibility and the chance to work with a dedicated team. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will work with young people with challenging behavior, requiring flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. Key Responsibilities
  • Work with young people with challenging behavior in a residential setting
  • Provide high-quality care, promoting the well-being and development of young people
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the residential home
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Engage, motivate, and encourage young people to achieve their full potential
  • Hold a full manual driving license
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with young people in a residential setting
  • Qualified to QCF level in Children and Young People
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level
  • Empathetic nature
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate young people
  • Full manual driving license
