We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Services team in Highbridge. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and lead a team of Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality childcare and support to young people.
- Ensure the Home runs efficiently and effectively, creating a safe and homely environment for young people.
- Deliver supervision and support to Residential Support Workers, promoting their development and well-being.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures, including Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and Data Protection.
- Support effective multi-agency working and positive relationships with local authorities, other professional agencies, and significant others.
- Assist in the development and delivery of young people's Plans and Care Planning.
- Promote anti-discriminatory and equal opportunity practices, ensuring a fair and inclusive environment for all.
- Good overall standard of education.
- Working towards or hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
- Previous experience of working directly with young people with challenging behavior.
- Good report writing and numeracy skills, with strong administration and IT skills.
- Able to relate to young people with empathy and commitment to high-quality childcare.
- Strong motivational, management, and leadership potential, with ability to supervise and develop Residential Support Workers.
