About the Role

The Royal Society seeks an experienced professional to lead its career development and engagement programme for UK-based researchers funded through the Society's grant programmes.

This programme aims to provide valuable opportunities for growth and networking, aligning with the Society's mission to advance science and support its impact on society.

As a key member of the Engagement team, you will work closely with colleagues to design and deliver engaging activities, ensuring the successful development of award holders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance career development and networking opportunities for UK-based award holders.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging events, workshops, and online platforms.
  • Monitor progress, evaluate programme effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.

We Offer

  • Reports to: Senior Engagement Manager
  • Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Location: Carlton House Terrace, London, plus hybrid remote working
  • Pay Band: D
  • Salary: £46,271 (per annum)
  • Contract type: Permanent
