Supporting Learning in Primary Education

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2 on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with Class Teachers to deliver engaging learning activities, promoting pupil progress and well-being.
About the Role:
- To provide high-quality support to a pupil with SEN and challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis.
- To manage challenging behaviour in a positive and proactive manner.
- To develop and maintain strong relationships with Class Teachers to promote pupil progress.
- To supervise pupils during break times and lunch times as required.
- To adopt a 'hands-on' approach to supporting pupils in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- An Enhanced DBS check is essential.
- A recognised Childcare-based qualification is desirable.
- The ability to build positive relationships and rapport with pupils and staff.
- A resilient and proactive nature.
- Experience of supporting pupils in a school setting.
- Ideal experience of 1:1 support within a school setting.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with pupils.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
Estimated Salary: £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
