About The Service

Crosslands, part of Cardiff Council Substitute Family Care, operates as a Children's Home in the Ely area of Cardiff, providing exceptional care to young individuals. Ty Storrie, also part of Cardiff Council Substitute Family Care, serves as a short-stay Children's Home, offering tailored support to families and care for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role

The Domestic Assistant plays a crucial role within the team, collaborating with other staff members to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for all residents and employees.

We are currently seeking two Domestic Assistants to enhance our dedicated Residential Children's Home teams:

  • Ty Storrie:
    • Permanent position for a Domestic Assistant with weekend working (Enhanced payment). Weekend work is required on alternate weekends.
    • Shift pattern: related to the domestic assistant role - hours per day over days, from morning until evening.
    • Location & Type: Tŷ Storrie is a Children's Home catering to children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Crosslands:
    • Permanent position for a Domestic Assistant with weekend working (Enhanced payment).
    • Shift pattern: related to the domestic assistant role – hours per day over days, from morning until evening.
    • Location & Type: Crosslands is a Children's Home dedicated to delivering high-quality care to young individuals.
