Job Title: Support Worker

Orbis Education and Care is seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker to join our team at Oakfield House in Cardiff. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with autism, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide bespoke care to individuals, including keeping accurate records.
  • Ensure physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive environment.
  • Be a positive role model, promoting independence through activities.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and personal care.
  • Build strong relationships with individuals and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Compassionate and caring nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
