About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Bank Support Worker at Priority Childcare, a leading organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to young people who have had childhood trauma, are struggling with mental health or both.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the physical and emotional needs of our young people are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Be a positive role model and promote independence by supporting a range of social, school and work-based activities.
  • Work together with our teams to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Keep accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
Requirements
  • A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
  • Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
  • A current valid driver's license.
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility around shift times.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness.

Please note that this role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.

As a Bank Support Worker with Priority Childcare, you will also be eligible for a Blue Light Card, offering additional discounts at a range of retailers.
